#3 of 28 in Shopping in Pakistan
Shopping Gift & Specialty Shop
A large mall bustling with visitors, The Centaurus Mall offers extensive shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Upon its completion in 2011 as part of a high-rise complex, the shopping center brought dozens of foreign brands to the city. In addition to diverse international retail, the mall boasts local brands, a food court, a movie theater (with movies in English, Hindi, and Urdu), and an arcade and indoor amusement park for children and families. Note that weekends can be very crowded, and that some visitors may have to pay a small entry fee. Where to stay in Islamabad

Islamabad has plenty of accommodations, particularly hotels and guesthouses, to choose from. Look in Blue Area for the bulk of options. With the streets here so spread-out, wide, tree-lined, and new, the hotels tend to follow suit by being luxurious and spacious, although some exceptions can be found. Taking the form of guesthouses, budget-friendly options in town sit on the side streets, particularly around the College Road and School Road areas.

  • First modern mall in the twin cities. Nice selection of shops. AL Fatah is a great store. No masjid located in the main mall, you have to go down to the parking basement. Entry coupon though a good concept is executed poorly. I have to pay Rs. 50 when going alone even when I'm using the rest of the coupon amount towards a purchase. Needs some competition to improve. Parking can be a hassle.
  • The first proper mall that was built in Islamabad. This mall has all the brands and all the shops in it. It's central location in the city makes it perfect. Now the easy access using the city's Metro system makes it even more convenient.
  • The great gate way for shopping and eating. This mall have all the latest brands and also food floor for delicious food. Entertainment section also there and even cinema also. A good choice for a great day out.
  • Beautiful place with all the brands and amenities under one roof. Ample parking and located in the heart of the city. Prices are on the higher side however variety is good. The food court and cinepax adds cherry on the top.
  • Awesome place. This is the only real mall in Islamabad with a variety of upscale shops and a good food court. The cineplex here is also very good. One can spend more than half a day here if one wants to.
