Murree, Islamabad

(3.9/5 based on 30+ reviews on the web)
Appreciate the architecture of the old buildings at Murree, and see all the picturesque landscapes the town provides. Although most of the townspeople follow Islam, an Anglican church dating back to the mid-19th century dominates the town center, a throwback to the days of British rule. The British influence can also be seen in the old houses and buildings, which display distinctly European architecture. Go to the wildlife park to see Asian black bears, camels, chitals, sambars, and many other animals, then relax by the Neelum Valley River and enjoy the natural scenery from the Kashmir viewpoint. To experience some of the best views of the hills, take a chairlift and cable car. Back in town, you can also visit Victorian cemeteries, where the oldest tombstones date back to 1860. With our international travel planner, Islamabad attractions like Murree can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

  • For mountain lovers. Here in the winter cold and summer happens to be cool. Locals see snow annually, and it is in Pakistan. And so beautifully, variety of nature.
