Climb up to the hilltop garden of Daman-e-Koh to enjoy panoramic views of Islamabad, seen through telescopes. The drive to the hilltop garden offers incredible natural scenery, but that's nothing compared top the view of Faisal Mosque and Rawai Lake from the top. In addition to the natural scenery, you can see some monkeys, peacocks, and some other animals frolicking in the area. You can leave your car in the onsite parking lot and a grab a bite to eat at the restaurant. Where to stay in Islamabad

Islamabad has plenty of accommodations, particularly hotels and guesthouses, to choose from. Look in Blue Area for the bulk of options. With the streets here so spread-out, wide, tree-lined, and new, the hotels tend to follow suit by being luxurious and spacious, although some exceptions can be found. Taking the form of guesthouses, budget-friendly options in town sit on the side streets, particularly around the College Road and School Road areas.

  • For tourists, it might be a good place. But local residents and people living in neighboring cities, it's not a good place. The administration doesn't manage this place properly. There aren't many garbage bins and most of the people that visit there are not very well mannered. They throw stuff and spit right in front of people.
  • Damane Koh provides very nice view of Islamabad city from a point that is not too far off from the city. The park has been very well designed and fairly well maintained too. However, the overall standard of cleanliness needs lot of improvement. I could find anything drastically wrong with park management. There were lot of disposal bins in the park but people visiting the park need to be educated. They were throwing litter all around the place. The park can be easily reached on foot too through a mountain trail.
  • Probably the best view one can have of twin cities (Islamabad & Rawalpindi). A highly recommended place in Islamabad. The best part of this place is that the road leading to this point is so beautiful & goes through jungle where you can get along with dozens of monkeys wandering around the road!
  • Daman koh is one of the top visited point of Islamabad.Nice view of twin cities from here.Best place for the family .Nice environment and facilities are provided.
  • Amazing place. Amazing view of Islamabad. Nature and greenery both are awsome
