Bird Aviary, Islamabad
Categories: Wildlife Areas, Nature & Parks
See rare bird species in their natural habitat at Bird Aviary, an aviary housing over a thousand different species and providing birds with a safe, natural environment. See parrots, pheasants, doves, swans, ducks, peacocks, cranes, and many other species at the aviary. Go to the birdwatching tower to get a better look at the birds' environment and see more birds up close. The birds aren’t scared of people, so you can feed them, a treat that kids in particular enjoy. Huge place, accommodating a reasonable number of bird species. Located at an ideal place, next to great Rawal lake.
Largest bird aviary of Pakistan. Lovely place for wildlife lovers.
The best experience for family with kids. Must go place in Islamabad

Lot of bird variety Blue birds , kiwi, ostrich etc etc
I love that place.
It is the biggest birds aviary in Pakistan. However, I would not call it the best. Although there are a variety of species including some rare ones but many of the spices are very common such as: budgerigars, turkeys, swans, ducks, sparrows, pigeons, pheasants and peacocks. Rare species present at the aviary include: various Macaw's, Cockatoos, Flamingos etc. The ticked prices however are very expensive, Rs.80 for adults and Rs. 40 for children under 12. I wouldn't recommend anyone to specially visit the aviary but if anyone is at the lake view park then maybe a visit to the aviary would not be so bad.
