  • While returning back from the Turtle reserve, we stopped at the castle for a visit. However it was closed on the weekend. We clicked a few pictures outside the main entrance and headed back to Muscat.  more »
  • The Ras al Hadd Castle will like some other castles, managed by the Ministry of tourism and can be visited. The entrance to the spacious and well restored Fort was free of charge during our visit. As the Fort has relatively few rooms and there are almost no signs or descriptions, one can only imagine their use. The Fort is still impressive and worth seeing.

  • We had a reservation for the official visit to the turtle tour, which is in the village of a side, but in the afternoon on the beach we are Fail, a fisherman, which offered to do the tour with the. At the end we negotiate and we prepare a whole afternoon activity night. We stayed at 19:00 in his beach hut where we prepare a delicious fish in the bonfire, accompanied by salad and rice, very good and abundant. After above 21:00 we gave a bath to play with the fluorescent plankton, film and already about 23:00 we went to see the turtles, could see one dig the hole to lay the eggs, but the best came after cuandofuimos by the beach , by the part of back of it already on the streets of the village .to collect tortugitas newly born which were lost by the village lights release them in water just over 1:00 for everything pay you 20 ro ultimately, one unforgettable night.
