  • This museum, albeit small, has the honor to enclose many of the characteristics of this country. Initially it is a plastic, interesting to get an idea of the geography of the area, followed by findings from several sites in the South and in the North of the country. For those in the South can complete the visit going to watch sites (ask the locals how to reach them, it's simple and are all well catered for). The last part shows the modern evolution. The Maritime Hall naval history of Oman, it shows very cute even for children. If you have time I recommend to visit the Archaeological Park that houses the Museum, the Islamic City of Al Baleed. Nice and scenic worth a visit (they rent, at negligible cost of 2 euros of electric cars to tour comfortably seated).
