  • Is a small souk where there are small shops operated mostly by Pakistanis selling virtually all the same things. They range from incense kit for 1 Real to incense sold loose, local clothes, typical headgear but honestly nothing special.

  • Hafa Shouk - Salalah - Oman a 130x100m great Arial next to the Sultan's Palace and situated on the sea. Only with a vehicle, this place is to reach, either with a rental car or taxi. From my hotel, the Hilton, from 5 or even 7 OMR be required up to the relaxing, for a high-speed rail line. A road, with the obligatory small stalls leads directly down to the sea. On the left side is the small market with the few streets. Almost every second stand sold incense. Then, still stands with the Tüchern-are stalls with knives of all kinds, clothing for military and animals, as well as many ceramic souvenirs to the incense burning, especially for male headgear, toys. A few stalls with food. Some restaurants also exist. Has you familiarised himself with the Arabic language, to apply them - hardly because almost all booths with vendors from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and others are busy. Traditionally, one finds very few women in the stands. There is God, in this relaxing, a small grocery store with printed prices with an Indian young husband as a salesman. The beach to the sea is 100m wide, natural and without trees. In the late afternoon, on Friday many young locals gather here. My conclusion: If you were already in other Arab countries on any a Shouk, then not must-see this here. Tip: If you want but here, then leave them to the gold Shouk drive (approx. 3Gassen with many small stalls) and walk towards the wide Street Palace and then turn left. CA. 120m the Hafa Shouk. Run time approx. 25Minuten. So save the taxi costs once. My taxi trip to the Hotel Hilton, a city taxi 2.5 Memorial!

  • It is a market. I think much more compared to other markets, and handle fabrics and the perfume shop. In perfume shops selling frankincense too. 5 real was entered about 1 kg large polybag. Gift foods such as dates and what not so much.
