  • a good but not outstanding, two-part Museum. A part is dedicated to all about oil and gas, from the creation, promotion and processing up to the numerous products. The second part is dedicated to the future of renewable energies. Striking, although the visit is free almost no visitors is to get lost here

  • This was a gift from PDO to Sultan for his 25th anniversary. One of a few oil and gas and museums in the world. Most displays are interactive. Needs approximate 1 hours.
  • PDO Oman Oil and Gas Exhibition is a must, is entirely in English and Arabish. You can easily bring around 1-2 hours, we had a tour that provides very was where really all was told about the exploration of oil in Oman. Also a very nice information was how an oil tanker is filled/loaded and unloaded. Beautiful exhibition also for the younger children. Next to the exhibition centre is the Planetarium, must be by appointment/reservation for the exhibition within walk is sufficient.
