Where to stay in Muscat

As the capital city, Muscat has a a good range of accommodations to suit the needs and wants of those who arrive in the sultanate. The city center stands out as the best place to look, whether you want something luxurious or budget-conscious, with most of the options located between the scenic waterfront and 23rd July Street. In particularly prominent spots sit a number of luxury options, with extra facilities galore and great access to the city's malls and attractions. Side streets house a decent number of guesthouses, with those positioned further from the center representing the real budget-friendly options in Muscat.

  • Muscat city centre is during Ramadan before iftar not crowded and good place to do your shopping. All stores have promotions. After iftar in the evening it gets much more crowded but has a good atmosp...  more »
