  • No matter how many times I have visited Muscat I never, ever fail to be bowled over at the sight of this glorious Palace. It is understated and elegant. Like a well dressed woman in a simple black out...  more »
  • Whilst in Muscat we caught a taxi to the Royal Palace ( negotiate the taxi fare) although we could not enter it was very impressive and had lovely gardens. Worth a visit.  more »
  • The official residence of His Majesty the Sultan of Oman is a reflection of Oman itself, not pretentious but beautiful in its own way, a fitting royal residence.  more »

  • Nice area to visit and walk around. Nevertheless is not possible to go inside the palace, it is worth to see it from outside and enjoy the nice environment of the surroundings.
  • Great place to visit in Muscat near the Oman National Museum
  • Really nice and special palace. Architecture is great never saw a palace like this. To bad that its closed for public but a must see when in Muscat. The area around is also nice to see and worth a visit.
  • Gorgeous architecture and grounds. The palace itself is closed to the public but the grounds around it are a must visit, especially since you can freely walk and enjoy the scenery!
  • Great place to visit. The palace itself is closed to the public, but you can enjoy beautiful territory, views and architecture. Watch out for the parrots that live in the garden.
