  • One of the first forts built by the Portuguese, small but very interesting. Allows a ride along the walls and visit the corner towers where they rebuilt society.

  • Historic and cultural place to visit. Built by the Portuguese. A lookout from Theo tower you can view the peninsular. Very steep step in the back to go up to the tower; no railings and uneven pavement...  more »

  • Khasab Fort, is a gorgeous and sexy stronghold located in the internal cavity of Khasab Bay. Built in the 17th century by the Portuguese invaders who aspired to extend their control over maritime commerce. Inside the walls of the Fort and equipped with balconies to shoot a huge central tower believed to have already built upon the Fort itself. Khasab Fort is a charming location attracts visiting eye when it passed through the coastal road in the old part of the city, overlooking the East side of Khasab. The Fort was built on the remains of the Castle anchored in the foot by promoting built by the Portuguese. Imam Nasir bin has a guide to expel the Portuguese from the city after working to unite the country during his period (1624-1649), made several Imam Sultan bin Saif aliarbi restoration of the Fort, with the first sultans of albosaid an increasing interest in the Fort and used it as an observation tower as a house belonging to the viceroy. History of the Fort and the Fort date back to approximately 250 years. It has been renovated in 1990. When you enter the main gate you will find the fortress three small cannons directed towards the sea. Having made the original teak fortress doors and walls are decorated with old swords and guns, forcing the visitor to ponder an ancient civilization. The project also included building a model of the lock within a yard of the fortress and view boat types famous Musandam, and build a model for El Arish Al-kamzari and enlightenment and old establishment molar shop selling antiques, gifts and handicrafts.
