  • Easily accessible first, go swimming until you can go no further. Water shoes and camera recommended. You are going through a cave that you wandering not experiencing. In addition, the gap already swimming impressive. For the last pool you have to walk. Many shady spots for picnic. Minus is the many tourist adaptation of this natural jewel.

  • This destination was a part of our three day tour with a local guide. We drove up the mountain road, parked our car and walked along the narrow water way up to the rocky area, where natural water pool...  more »
  • After our desert crossing and before we returned to the desert camp, we drove in the Wadi Bani Khalid. Advance is here to say that here the customs of the country observe and should respect, because especially on weekends and holidays walking local i.e. you should swim on tight bikinis i.e. restraint waive, and instead swim shorts and T-Shirt have laika shirt for the water. Unfortunately Italian cruise ship tourists were there with us, which are with bikini in the water. To avoid this sight, it should be morning as early. The Wadi with picturesque villages, nestled in the mountains. Emerald Green shimmering natural water swimming pools invite here with beautiful clear water for a refreshing swim. Scenically beautiful. It is worth especially to go into the Canyon and to swim until the end. To do this, one should wear trittfestes shoes. The idyllic Valley is located about 300km from Muscat and almost 200km from sur. It approaches on the winding asphalt Ribbon of the Omani capital, one can hardly imagine at the sight of secluded valleys and treeless mountains, that there is life in this desert. More and more Palm trees suddenly as out of nowhere, finally arranged a regelreichten forest! In the middle of a barren mountain desert, crystal clear water along palm-fringed shores enjoys each eye starved to green throughout the year. From the car park, a narrow paved road leads to the source of the OASIS. After about a quarter of an hour walking comes the heart of Wadi in sight - a huge, turquoise-blue pool, whose UFER in almost Caribbean style palm lined. There are also an overpriced restaurant and not particularly clean toilets. Whoever wants to can bathing here already in the huge turquoise blue pond. It's nicer to go but further. Behind it, invite several natural rock pools for bathing. At the right edge of the OASIS, a path leads even further up in the mountains, where it will be even more heavenly. After a few hundred meters, a waterfall in a crystal clear pool splashes here. Many goats climbed on the slopes.

  • This place is just wooow. Natural springs, carved mountains. A must visit if you are on a holiday in Muscat. Its about 250kms from Muscat
  • Beautiful natural collection of rain water in the mountains! Fish pedicure and swim in the water. Brave jumper has to be knowing all the sport, because underwater stones are not seeing from above.
  • Lovely place to spend a whole day with BBQ, swim n dive , explore the cave
  • Very nice! Swimming, Jacuzzi, fishes eating dead skin... All for free
  • Great place but dangerous for kids and whom are not skilled swimmer. Take safety jacket and proper shoes for walking on rocks and avoid noon time then will enjoy a great journey
