  • From Gudvangen to Bergen, continuing on the road E16 crosses unexpectedly this beautiful waterfall. Clear that the Park is not vital, but since you're there and admission is absolutely free, why not take some time out and stop? Well worth the visit

  • The waterfalls, towering, majestic and powerful in one explosive nature of colors between vegetation and fjords makes this area one of the most exciting to go and leaves us feeling great.

  • This is a nice waterfall, the size is very impressive. A nice place to stop for a photo and get a break from driving.

  • A very beautiful waterfall. Not very high compared to what I've seen elsewhere in Norway, but the waterfall is broad. Lots of pretty little streams that run down over small stairs.
  • Tvinnefossen, or Tvindefossen, is a popular waterfall by tourists and has a height of 109 meter. If driving near the Tvinnefossen and need a place to stay overnight, the camping site at the Tvinnefossen is awesome. Dining with a view on such a marvelous waterfall, that is really unique. The Tvinnefossen is quit impressive and very photogenic in all sesons. There are several viewpoint from where you can take pictures: at the roadside from a distance, just in front of the Tvinnefossen or from the camping site a little bit from aside. You mostly will photograph directly towards the west. Best time to visit the Tvinnefossen is early in the morning when the sun rises above the mountains and the first light rays of the sun reaches the waterfall. I visited the Tvinnefossen 4 times. You clearly can see the difference in volume of the Tvinnefossen between May and July. Especially after rainfall the Tvinnefossen gets more impressive. Upstream from the top of the Tvinnefossen there is another waterfall in the river Kroelvi, Breifossen (over 40 meters high).
  • Beautiful but not as exciting. Stalheimfossen is much better
  • Beatiful waterfall with a gifts shop and really good access
  • Breath taking wonderful view was here 2015
