Enter the time tunnel here and find out more about the history of Norwegian pop and rock music at Rockheim. Start from the "Top Box"--the main display on the sixth floor--and work your way down. Jam to popular tunes at the jam station or draw graffiti, mix songs, and try break-dancing in the hip-hop room. The museum also features a hall of fame and a media library where you can browse music magazines or listen to music no longer publicly streamed. The restaurant offers a view of the fjord from the fifth floor and the gift shop sells a wide assortment of biographies, postcards, posters, T-shirts, and mugs. A visit to Rockheim represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Trondheim vacation builder to plot your vacation.

An interesting recap of pop and rock history with nice exhibits. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It's definitely worth a visit.
Very nice and interesting interactive concept about the Norsk rock- and pop history, of course including the Pussycats but also black metal acts like Satyricon, Immortal and good ol' Mayhem, absolutely worth visiting. Al types of music since the 60's are presented and you can play a lot of instruments yourself ; they work following the "silence concept" so you must use a headphone playing the drums. When I was there one of the headphones was molested; bring your own cheap supermarket headphone if you wanna be shure not to be disappointed in your first drum- guitar or organ session. 9,5/10
