Think to connect in a leash of various attractions to the water? Children's paradise. A nice restaurant that serves tasteless food, but who packs food for a day trip in the water park? The space is recommended when there is plenty of room to romp on. Although there are hundreds of others here, there is little corners you can have all alone. Here you will enjoy regardless of age. Recommended for all between 0 to 106 years

This is said to be Norways biggest bathing place. Haven't been in other bathing places in Norway but I know we have better in Finland. :D Lots of potential and nice view. Big hall but no so many pool ...  more »

This pool complex is Norways largest. If you have children, they will love it. Avoid the weekends if possible and rainy days, can get crowed. Many pools, water slides and serious diving platforms and ...  more »

Public swimming pool with different facilities and a nice view over the fjord. There is a fast-food restaurant in the pool too. It is extremely busy here on weekend mornings, especially in winter. Otherwise it is fine. The facilities are so-so clean and some places it is starting to look worn. The price of an adult admission is now NOK175/USD20. Building on an extension is to start soon. The price will probably rise again then.

A rather big place. Kinda noisy, but there's a small quiet area for adults with sauna and some (indoor) sun beds. Two medium-fast water slides, climbing wall, jacuzzis, swimming lanes and jumping tower from approx 3-10 meters.

Pirbadet is a large pool for both re-creative and training purpose. + - large hall with relative good soundproofing to reduce noise - very nice facade towards the fjord - easily accessible by buss - As there are 4 different recreative basins, the place doesn't feel packed when it's very busy. - friendly and helpful staff - always swimming lanes available for training (the outermost lane is 50 m) - relatively hot sauna (especially given that people are constantly walking in and out) - - Shower area can be a bit cleaner (especially when it's busy) - Floor in the "eating area" is often very dirty and covered with food. - Restaurant is poor quality

Fun slides and view of the sea. Sauna are could be a bit larger.

Relaxing swimmingpool. Greatest asset is the view over Trondheim fjords

Where to stay in Trondheim

One of Norway’s major cities, Trondheim offers a wide range of accommodations. As with any Norwegian city, it’s easy to find the high-end hotels with big price tags in the city’s historical center. With a student population of roughly 25,000, the town also caters to more budget-conscious travelers with a fair number of options. Look for reasonably priced hostels near the university. If you’re not opposed to roughing it the way Norwegians love to, check out one of the many campsites in the city’s outskirts. You'll still have access to the city thanks to the local buses that run regularly.
