Where to stay in Trondheim

One of Norway’s major cities, Trondheim offers a wide range of accommodations. As with any Norwegian city, it’s easy to find the high-end hotels with big price tags in the city’s historical center. With a student population of roughly 25,000, the town also caters to more budget-conscious travelers with a fair number of options. Look for reasonably priced hostels near the university. If you’re not opposed to roughing it the way Norwegians love to, check out one of the many campsites in the city’s outskirts. You'll still have access to the city thanks to the local buses that run regularly.

  • Nice German canon and distance measure equipment.
  • Part of the old "fortress" and a great place to enjoy your lunch or just the breathtaking views.
  • Fantastic trip. Catch the boat from the harbour and have a look around .The tour guide was very knowledgable and gave us free reign to look around. It was a corporate event so no idea what the food was like but we had a midnight BBQ that was very special.
  • Extremely recommended if you are in Trondheim!
  • Worth visiting, beautiful view!
