  • Although admission is expensive for Central European conditions, but it is worth. At the checkout, it is equipped with a coat and gloves. In the exhibition you get then served as first a welcome drink in a glass made of ice. The drink of alcoholic and tastes a bit like mulled wine, only cold. The exhibition is just great. With great attention to detail, beautiful ice sculptures can be seen. There's still a small ice slide, which is explicitly allowed. Who wants to know how come these figures, who can look at a film when leaving at the cashier. So get you hot!

  • The entrance is very expensive. We're not long, because the tour was quick but sculptures are surprising.

  • My partner and I went with a Hurtigruten ferry to Svolvær. Since we had almost two hours time, we went in the the nearby Harbour magic ice Museum. Admission for students was 155 kroner. The exhibition is relatively small, but great to see. Keeping up there about 30 minutes to 1 hour. Inside there is a temperature of - 6 ° C. The welcome you get (in the price included) a wine. Very interesting and beautiful to see, it's worth a trip in any case because you can see something not all days. The best the ice chute we liked!

  • The talent that went in to creating the ice sculptures is absolutely amazing. Combined with the lighting for them, this made for a wonderful experience when we visited in 2013. However, on returning in 2018, unfortunately the place looked like it needed a little love. A lot of the sculptures had become worn and lost their definition. It was a real shame considering how impressive it used to be. This is still probably worth one visit, but if you've been before it might be better to keep the memories as they were!
  • Interesting experience, some really nice sculptures but they looked a bit old and worn and left some supporting structures exposed. We weren't offered ponchos. Loved the welcome drink tho.
  • So cool! The sculptures were so fascinating and pretty, and the staff are really nice and helpful. I'd definitely recommend this place!
  • A fun little stop on the Hurtigruten route. It's literally a stone's throw from the dock. The ice slide was pretty cool. You really only need twenty minutes there, but it's definitely worth a visit.
  • Magic Ice Bar is a really fun pitstop and you can get here easily from the Hurtigruten docking spot - just look for a sign on the left when walking out of the boat. It took about 30mins to visit. You get a heavy coat to wear and a welcome drink in an ice glass, then you can walk through the exhibitions. Had a lot of fun! The lighting inside is poor so the photos were a bit difficult to take but still an awesome experience and some really nice sculptures. I went down the ice slide, it goes faaaaast damn. Great for an outing from the Hurtigruten cruise :) a bit overpriced maybe but it's a great memory for us.
