Stryn Sommerski is a ski resort in the municipality of Stryn, Norway. The ski resort is located along the 100-year-old national tourist route, Gamle Strynefjellsveien, 45 km East of Stryn city centre. From Oslo Int'l Airport Gardermoen it’s about a 5 hours drive to the North.The ski resort opened in 1972 and is the largest summer ski area in Northern Europe. It is based near an arm of the glacier Jostedalsbreen but the skiing area is mainly outside the glacier. The extreme amount of snow fall in winter time makes an average snow depth per June 1st of 6mStryn Sommerski is home to 5km prepared alpine slopes, a first class terrain park and 4km of cross-country pistes.

  • Lovely setting and nice summer skiing. Here you go to enjoy nature, the environment, various adventure and skiing. Skiing is that little extra!! Need access to the car to get the most en stay.

  • Fight fun and coming up at the Stryn Summer ski. I have a cabin in the Winter and Stryn ski using my of both, and be there and stand on the slalom and eat good cold lunch ☀ ️ ️ ⛷ ☺

  • From the Mindresunde campsite is about 20 kilometre drive to Meråker. If there is sufficient snow you can ski in the summer. Really amazing!
