  • It is a three-story Museum, interesting shows the sea life of the city and the country's Norwegian, similar to that of Bergen has models of the ships built here, the country is proud of its large sailing through history, next to the historical Museum and close to the Cathedral and the Museum of Natural history.

  • Stavanger Maritime Museum is located in the heart of the city, in the central port. The building is actually part of the old docks, but I will let you find the whole story by visiting the museum. It is exhibiting interesting pieces and I think it worth a visit, being very easily accessible. It is part of the "Museum Stavanger" network, which means that a ticket bought at any of those museums, gives you free access to the other museums if you visit them in the same day. The price is 90 NOK (10 EUR) which is very convenient if you visit a few different museums. Furthermore, with the same ticket you can get a 50% discount at the Norwegian Petroleum Museum.
  • Very interesting and well put together exhibits. Great audio guide. Freshly made waffles in the café.
  • Very insightful on Norway's maritime and economic industry - quite fun for kids too.
  • Excelent
