I visited this attractions as part of an excursion from a cruise ship. I enjoyed that variety of exhibits and the information about life in the Iron and Bronze ages.
Interesting exhibitions and activities about Norwegian ancient and local history. Focus on Vikings. Café with waffles, coffee and easy dinner on Sundays. A small shop with Vikings effects and books. For adults and kids.
Nice museum with an incredible selection of tools, art and pottery. One of the best items is the polar bear skeleton and that of a small boy found in a nearby cave. The displays could use a bit more interpretive explanation.
Great place to go. Small.
Grzegorz OrłowskiI was there with my family twice and each time it was fun. We've been on. Night at the Museum, when you can enter different museums for free. There were various demos, videos. In a Word, plenty of activities for large and small. I recommend everyone see a little history of the world as well as Norway.show original
Jack TechnicA good Museum definitely voted to educational activities. Do not miss the archaeological lab on the first floor: a look at what's missing in Italy. To improve the exhibition apparatus. Services to Nordic country. Another world.show original
