  • An informative museum about the glaciers. Inside they have a special presentation about the globe challenges and then you can see a five screen film flying over the glaciers (that is VERY out of date!...  more »
  • Here we can see the evolution of the Earth and of glaciers, the dangers that currently represent climate change and do some experiences related to the theme

  • To the Museum from afar attraction away facing the mammoth statues and unusual shape of the building. The Museum is almost by, surrounded by mountains. From the roof of the Museum you can not only admire the wonderful panorama, but also learn, thanks to the transparent planszom of plexi, what we see. And of course we see m.in. the glacier, which is dedicated to the Museum. Ticket price is not shocking (a little over 50 PLN), and the exhibition very interesting. What is most important is that all parts are translations into 12 languages, including Polish, so we can get to know actually plenty of interesting information on the glaciers of their role, history, etc. The film is not too interesting, but allows you to see the glaciers, which few are closed. In the Museum are the expositions of the interactive m.in. for the production of energy-you can see how much we produce pedalling your bike, check out the construction of ice, or cut the solid using the wire and weights. You can also enter the Simulator, the cave outside it is very ... very pretty, but we can feel almost all your senses what feels in the cave. The most surprising for me was the floor. The Museum is interesting, interactive, but a visit to consider. Free parking, souvenir shop, café, good camping next to, interesting surroundings

  • Very interesting small museum with information in Norwegian, English and German. Definitely worth a visit! Also exciting for children. Ask for student discount in case you are one and can proof it :)
  • Excellent museum explaining glaciers and climate change. Many interactive exhibits. An excellent discussion on the natural greenhouse gases, and their affects on climate change as well as an excellent discussion on how the changes in the earth's and tilt of the polar axes cause climate change.
  • A really interesting museum, with interactive displays and history. The glacier movie is worth watching while you're here too.
  • Interesting approach to the global warming, but for a Glaciar Museum it lacks information about the glaciar "little facts" about the closest glaciars, that could make the visit more interesting and captivating.
  • Very well organized museum. Clear explanation and some very nice practical info.
