  • if you by any chance have the time to take this divertion , you just must. Its a thrilling and spectacular peace og mountain road
  • There were many bends down to Lysebotn. Not posted about the boat's route times anywhere. Had to google schedules to help foreign tourists who thought it went boat. It stopped going to 31 august.

  • We drove from Sandnes to Lysebotn to/by car and this is a great road trip in the beautiful Norwegian nature! Especially the stretch from Sirdal to Lysebotn is a great nature experience. Here is the great hiking terrain so here it is fine to combine a scenic drive with a nice hiking. From the restaurant near the top of the 27 hairpin bends up from Lysebotn is also the most used starting point for hiking to Kjerag. It costs 60 dollars to park at the restaurant and it was obviously enough that many people choose to park along the road around this basically for Kjerag, and hence the tendencies to some traffic chaos on fine days during the holiday season.
