  • Following the Ryfylke national tourist route you can see a wonderful waterfall Svandalfossen. Especially wonderful view unfolds, if you climb up the metal stairs.

  • But you certainly want to walk the stairs,- that`s where you se the real waterfall. The view from the picture is what you see and the end of the first part of stairs so its pretty easy to get up there...  more »

  • Driving along the Saudafjorden you will pass by the Hangandvikfossen and the Svandalsfossen. With a height of 145 meters, the Svandalsfossen is one of the bigger waterfalls in Rogaland. In front of the waterfall there is a parking. From there you can walk, along the river, to the upper part of this powerful waterfall. You will also have a great view on the Saudafjorden.
  • Worth visiting if you're driving by, but not worth make a special trip here
  • One of the most impressive waterfalls where you can get very close. Tip: follow the stairs to the top for best view.
  • Amazing. You need to go up.
  • Walking it goes here around 5 minutes the mountain, up to a small plateau. From here it goes a little further up, however, the views of the waterfall is not so good from the top
