  • A terrific museum for children, teens and adults. The new indoor Museum Hall is awesome with its exhibition. And the staff is very pleasant and turn easily by a chat. Outdoors is also great with its grade II listed buildings and farm area where you can pet the animals. It is also possible to enjoy the weather out and have your own lunch pack and make them a picnic on the green areas.

  • Borgarsyssel is the name from the middle ages on the Østfold County, Norway. The Borg, or contemporary was the natural centre of Sarpsborg in Østfold County, Norway Borgarsyssel, or. As the name says it would like the Museum to convey the story from all times from all over Norway, and contains many well preserved buildings, even a true copy of an old church from the middle ages. A guided tour of the Museum's knowledgeable guides is really to recommend, and excites curiosity and inquisitive device at all, all levels of history knowledge that one had to have in advance. The buildings and the site is open all the time and available to all. To gain access to buildings to look at the exhibits inside the buildings and the guided tour paid entrance fee. The place has a café with the serving of kaffemat made on the typical home made show. I ordered waffles and coffee that tasted totally superf4, served from an old and traditional rose-tableware. Absolutely perfect!

  • Surprisingly well made exhibition and a perfect museum to bring children. The museum have a small cafe and a gift shop. We loved the park and the tower. It's a nice place to visit if you are in Sarpsborg.
  • A great place
  • Free to visit. Free car parking.
  • Borgarsysseø museum has always been a nice place to visit, and here been free as long as I can remember. Now that they are taking it out of the entrance fee is to visit it. To see some old buildings I take either with the children elsewhere. Solar roller Tower is also free if you want up in a tower, and the old town in Fredrikstad provides just as much value for the kids. A pity that Sarpsborg will hang after.

  • Authentic museum, great landscaped and with nice guides and employees. Miss a lot of the City Museum, which is now been offices. All too many of the old houses are closed and locked by. The children's Farm is nice and popular, but could have been done so much, much better. Plus for great offers to children.
