  • For the third time we were able to once again enjoy the wonderful concept Barony offer: Concert with some of Norway's best artists, lovely food in the romantic garden living room and accommodation in the charming Lady, House with breakfast the next morning. This must be booked on the Web in good time if one is to get fit. Such a package costs $1300 per pers., something that in my opinion is well worth. This time it was Vamp who stood for the music and a concert with them is in itself an experience. In the past these concerts have been held in the courtyard of the Barony. It worked out fine, but sonically have enough it been a challenge for the organizers, in addition to the elements. This year was the new Knight's Hall. It is located on the second floor in operating the building on Breeding farm, about 200 m below the barony and proved to be a very good Concert Hall. After the concert we walked under the starry sky up to the Barony, and garden living room which is located on the back of the building. There we were greeted by a smiling waitress and a table for two was waiting for us. We got a lovely three-course dinner with lamb as a main course. It tasted totally superf4. Along with the food, we selected a vinpakke that consisted of one glass of white wine and two glasses of red wine. It paid £ 250 we for, per pers. If one is to pull something down it can be mentioned that the cake that made up the dessert was no great experience. It was a square piece of a finished cake, but together with a cup of coffee, it was perfectly fine. The money and the effort was probably added in the two first dishes. The atmosphere in the venue is very special. It's a small room and the tables are small and are close so it will be a very intimate feel. Brick walls, so it enhances the talking quickly become a part audio, but for us was not that annoying. After dinner we walked down to the Lady House, about 100 m below Breeding farm. Where we stayed at a charming double room with two beds, a sink and a Chair. Shower and toilet were out in the Hall. A very simple, but very charming accommodation. The next morning we got up and walked up to the Breeding farm again and ate a simple breakfast, on the long table. We have utilized us of this concept three times and we total experience has been very good every time.

  • Small, but very quiet, very very good original Manor. Important visitors rarely, no tour group, I come, I am a Chinese. Do not buy tickets, it is very expensive, he bought single tickets, tickets, meals yourself in the inside to eat, cheaper than packages and packages do not have student discounts, if purchased separately from both ticket and the tickets are discounted. The castle is made of wood, is not big, but explained very well. Explain I hadn't bought tickets, but there are no visitors alone, I was embarrassed to go inside a person, follow a team explains. Manual explains, in English only, there are a few very nice Norwegian tourists received in English, take care of most of the foreign tourists. Narrator is a boy, funny, he doesn't speak English, his language, so it is not difficult to understand. Castle keep pictures, several of his paintings are really beautiful. Instructors see me staring at the end of a few small picture, very nice with me, these paintings were painted in Paris. I think it's mostly explaining the good points here, listening to the explanation would be nothing close to the port also went to the Church, not high, very close to the port. Imperative is to have ascended the fjord, super beautiful! Ship of time arrangements have just, from to Manor, in rose Park in eat has meal rice drink has two cup coffee, slowly took photo, into to Castle followed listening to explained not to one hours, again out took took Park King and rose, also rain,, has later rain stopped, this wants to to port,, because afternoon only this a class ship back Bergen, but also somewhat time, see map Church away from have is near, on followed Google maps go has a circle, returned to port just sent ship Qian 20 minutes. PERFEKT!

  • Very nice surroundings. The tour was interesting, and the guides clearly knew what they were talking about.
  • Fantastisk garden and expert guide.
  • Baroniet Rosendal is a great place to visit. Rosendal is a beautiful village, espacially when its sunny. I haven't tried to sleep over there but the garden is worth a visit. The service is also good.
  • Nice concert venue. Great ice cream. Beautiful gardens during the summer.
  • Interesting castle, smallest in Scandinavia. Beautiful garden and views of surrounding landscape
