  • The convent is idyllically situated on an island and is very well restored. In the summer it is open also on Monday.

  • When we get visitors, it's a must to show this place. It has its own terrifying stories. Good scenery.
  • Gorgeous former cloister with a museum and a beautiful chapel. Hosts a Shakespeare festival in summer in English. Come in the spring and see the lambs frolic in the beautiful pastures.
  • A fantastic place. You can feel the atmosphere of past years. A piece of history. The monastery was built in the year 1260. Really recommend

  • Old nice monastery out in the open sea. This place is well worth a visit if you have a little interest in history. It is part of the museums in Stavanger and is open to the public part of the year.
