  • The warning at the beginning of the pseudo-trail is NICE CLEAR. The view is spectacular, but I definitely recommend this excursion. The desire to climb was very strong (trust me), but the sages also knows when it's best to do turnabout, without remorse some (many are hurting just like that ... can't say no). Us after a while that we climbed we wondered: but is it really worth risking so much? Is not reported, there are no handholds sure, the path is pretty much everything at 45° and it slips continuously even if you don't, then remember .... get off it's getting worse. Considering we were in mid journey, good hikers we thought the risk of ruin our vacation was too much ... and returned back. The 2 days, we saw that in different (I would say many) people had legs in a cast or crutches. ... IT WILL BE A CASE?? The worst thing is seeing (and as we've known it), people with no experience in the mountains, with equipment purchased just a few days before (just for the occasion) in those stores all-in-one from a budget (which van so fashionable lately), I want to go at all costs, believing it is a walk. BUT JOKING??? We bleached faced with such insistence ... PERFORCE THEN THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO GET HURT BUT THE SIGN IS THERE!!! THEN THE RULE IS ... .... FOREWARNED!! However until the field, better do more. ... as we did. Then when will a real trail, we'll definitely WE TOO BUT NOT NOW

  • We did the hike in Sep. 2016, at this time they were already building a new hiking track up Reinebringen, because the existing one ist pretty steep and sometimes slippery (especially when it's wet). T...  more »
  • My first review was probably too harshly worded and was removed after release. No problem, I may be also different: the rise is due to loose and sometimes slippery rock for the ascending, as well as the following persons from my point of view so dangerous, that the track is locked. The view above is definitely worth a visit. There are however also other trails and viewpoints, which offer an at LEAST equally chilling sight and the corresponding photo opportunities.

  • Great views. It's only a small hill, but quite steep and also somewhat slippery. One should't go there when it's rainy or wet. In the evening the Reinebringen casts a shadow on Reine, so it is probably better to go up there before.
  • Amazing view, well worth the tough hike up. The hike is short in distance but really hard and dangerous because of the steepness so be careful, especially if it is raining or windy. Very steep drop down from the top.
  • Good weather is essential for a nice view and a safe hike up, the path is quite narrow and steep, but worth the trouble.
  • Breathtaking views from the top. Very very steep climb up but well worth it.
  • Worth the two hour hike up to the peak (make sure you get the correct one). Also, put on your best hiking boots and be prepared to hike over muddy ground, plenty of rocky spots, and steep rocky slopes. Beware of landslides and loose rocks.
