  • We were late September in Reine. In advance, we have informed us about walking the purity. Because the weather was not good, we left out this walk lots of rain and occasional fog in the mountains. Also lessor thereof was discouraged by our B & B us, as it is currently too dangerous. The way is made now trittsicherer. As tourists but just have the images of the beautiful views in the head, no regard for the workers, as well as its own security is taken. There are always dead or injured. For the locals, the tourist rush is hard to deal with. You're still not ready that the mountain trails are safe enough. So we had to cancel up Hut also our tour to the Munkebuh, since rain began. I ask all tourists to go just for a cool photo not in danger. We have migrated up located near Ramberg on the Ryten and were able to enjoy the views of the Lofoten Islands, as well as a beautiful white sand beach. This hike is absolutely safe and gives a beautiful view after all.

  • Amazing view, well worth the tough hike up. The hike is short in distance but really hard and dangerous because of the steepness so be careful, especially if it is raining or windy. Very steep drop down from the top.
  • Worth the two hour hike up to the peak (make sure you get the correct one). Also, put on your best hiking boots and be prepared to hike over muddy ground, plenty of rocky spots, and steep rocky slopes. Beware of landslides and loose rocks.
  • We hiked this trail in early March 2016. The entire route was covered in snow, be careful when going there yourself this time of the year! It was fairly strenuous as there wasn't any discernible path after some point and we had to find a way ourselves, but the view at the top made up for it. It took us roughly 2.5 hours round-trip.
  • Definitely worth the climb! The view is worth the work to get up that hill. It is simply stunning
  • Breath taking panorama view! (see my attached photos) Must visit in Lofoten.
