  • The sight of this tongue of ice that came over the Lake we loved. Though we did reflect what the glaciers are retreating. Unfortunately we could not take the boat (classic lap) to go for the hike over, because the last one was at 16 and we arrived at 16:30. We did manage to see the tongue of ice from another location, which is along the road on the opposite side of the Park Fv17 Svartisen, about 10 km from the ferry terminal at Furøy in the direction of Glomfjord. If there is content is nice though and you do not spend anything.

  • We were there mid July 2015. a landscape you breathtaking, nature in its raw state; splendid, imposing. But what concern also to see the glacier retreat as quickly: pictures in the bar at the edge of the Lake show the decline of the glacier. It's impressive and disturbing

  • Small boat ride, then a hike on the stones carved by the glacier of 3km. When we see the glacier we are admiring in front of this ice mass. To do!

  • Its just a campin! And a boat to swarticen!
  • Nice people in the kiosk! Good offer by boat across the water when it is far around on almost overgrown paths. .. Strange behavior of the boat driver who threw the water bottle with 1 liter of water right in back of me when we got off the boat.. Possible he thought it was ours. But had not been worse than to ask?

  • 20 minutes by boat, 3 km walk and you can enjoy the splendor of the glacier Svartisen set on layers of granite and quartz almost stepped. To see before that global warming there.

  • Impressive! A requirement that you are experiencing this, if you're nearby! Note: If you have trouble cutting e, etc., then take to the West-there is a ferry from the Netherlands, and the way that you will be dropped off at, should be fine to walk/cycle up ad. If you are not hard-going, then take the East side-there is a sign on the E12,-right at a sign for any airport. After about 25 km you come to a kiosk and ferry ⛴ Ferry takes you on a beautiful 10 min trip, after which you have 3 km ride in the Rocky, etc. CERTAINLY A NICE TRIP!
