  • I have on several occasions-both alone and together with the family had the pleasure to stroll along the harbour promenade. Sometimes I have gone by all 14 records along the route that stretches from the start of the Frognerstranda (record 1) and all the way to the Container Port by Kong's Harbour (post 14). The total make up this stretch closer to 9 kilometres. Other times (with family) I have only gone from Sørenga to Aker Brygge. This pilgrimage represents much of what is modern urban development Oslo and later time architecture. Perhaps the most interesting thing is just to be able to observe the Oslo from Sun and seaside as an international city and capital of the tremendous growth, development and change, not to mention being able to see those changes take more and more terms from time to time. In this metamorphosis of aesthetic hiking do you do also some thoughts on an urban development along an open and vibrant Commons where it clearly emerges an emphasis of environment, history, architecture, art and culture that is a social democracy and an oil nation Norway worthy. Check out this walks before everything is ready in maybe 8-10 years! Then comes antiklimakset ...

  • Here it is wonderful to take a good walk! Amazing how great it has been in recent years. In the brilliant sunshine, it is, of course, magnificent.

  • Almost similar to any marine area, with boats, shops, usual local crowds, easily accessible by bus, tram and boat
