  • To be on the way to the Akershus fortress and taking advantage of the Oslo pass visit the Museum which is located in a large building that stands out in your environment. If you're a fan of contemporary art you will enjoy this site where prevail the exhibition of paintings, although some sculptures are also shown. Recommendation: Buy the Oslo Pass to visit a lot of museums, its cost is according to the time of validity that is 1 to 3 days. Enjoy National Museum - Museum of Contemporary art. LIFE... it's a trip!

  • This is one of the least exciting contemporary art museums I've ever been to and it shows in the lack of people visiting. There were some nice works in the collection but there was not enough to make to want to go back. Felt like there was more security than visitors around the place.
  • Not very impresive expo, still worth seeing especially on thursday.
  • Depends on your perception of Contemporary Art, but to personally, it's too safe to be.
  • Quiet and comfortable contemporary art collection
