  • A closed museum, which is actually very rare open-if you do not order time, as we did when we went there all the Interior class. The experience was magical-the first few minutes. So are all the same, so you don't have to experience this for a long time, because then the deteriorating experience. We were there probably a little too long, and just too many people. If you take a visit to so use the acoustics for all it's worth. Sing and try.

  • Emanuel Vigeland mausoleum, Tomba Emmanuelle, indescribable beautiful! A place that not only gives overwhelming sights but also a distinctive feel and unique experience. Recommend to visit the place both in ordinary opening hours, as well as keep up with when there are concerts in the burial chamber.

  • It to go inside and experience the reverb in there where all sound turn back for several seconds is an absolutely amazing experience. Hidden treasure of an experience in Oslo.

  • Very fascinating place, especially when the hall is empty. The frescoes in combination with the quietness and acoustic is worth a visit. During the stay you will notice new details all the time.
  • I was lucky to get a private tour. It was amazing. totally amazing.
  • Absolutely fantastic mausoleum. The secrecy of this place makes it even more worthwhile. The length of the visit really is up to you, and although I didn't get a personal tour, I definitely think it would be worth the extra kroner. A must for everyone who wants a less touristy "museum" in Oslo!
  • Incredible. No photos allowed but take a seat in the middle of the space and shut your eyes. Nothing quite like it!
  • Nice place, good experience, cheap entry.

Where to stay in Oslo

A majority of Oslo's hotels and smaller accommodations cluster along Karl Johans Gate, the city's main drag connecting many of its downtown attractions. If you want something a bit more colorful than the average hotel, consider one of the many bed and breakfasts that have been cropping up in recent years. To escape the crowded streets, but still be walking distance from major sights, stay in the Frogner or Majorstuen neighborhoods near the royal palace. As you can probably guess, lodging is quite expensive in this European capital.
