Where to stay in Oslo

A majority of Oslo's hotels and smaller accommodations cluster along Karl Johans Gate, the city's main drag connecting many of its downtown attractions. If you want something a bit more colorful than the average hotel, consider one of the many bed and breakfasts that have been cropping up in recent years. To escape the crowded streets, but still be walking distance from major sights, stay in the Frogner or Majorstuen neighborhoods near the royal palace. As you can probably guess, lodging is quite expensive in this European capital.

  • The new waterfront skyline of Oslo is really cool and modern. But a lot of new buildings are popping up in front of the iconic Barcode. How cool will this be?  more »
  • Nice ongoing neighborhood. Interesting tall glass office buildings. It is notable that it was thought that perform black and white buildings.  more »

  • Really, really good food. Great service. All around a good place for a representative dinner in a professional setting. Remember to reserve table in advance as it can be crowded. The wine list is good. For the price I would require slightly better food if I were to pay out-of-pocket.
  • Nice interior, excellent service and food. Ps, try a drink in Nodee Sky before you sit down for dinner, to get the whole experience.
  • Got a table in a corner where the waiter was keeping table drinks, plates and other necessities, during a low season. Prices are too high compared to quality. The food tasted better when we visited a couple of years ago.
  • Excellent Foods and service
  • Good and up scale Asian fusion restaurant. Quite expensive but you get the best ingredients in this see and be seen place.
