Where to stay in Oslo

A majority of Oslo's hotels and smaller accommodations cluster along Karl Johans Gate, the city's main drag connecting many of its downtown attractions. If you want something a bit more colorful than the average hotel, consider one of the many bed and breakfasts that have been cropping up in recent years. To escape the crowded streets, but still be walking distance from major sights, stay in the Frogner or Majorstuen neighborhoods near the royal palace. As you can probably guess, lodging is quite expensive in this European capital.

  • Beautifully remodeled! With nice restaurants and coffee shops to stay at before taking the train. There's also a pretty good food store.
  • Middle of the road serving places with food and drinks catering to travellers wanting something more than regular trainspot options. Give it three stars as I left with the feeling of being at the food court in a shopping mall
  • This place is awesome. There are many small restaurants inside offering a wide variety of foods from different countries. The royal burger was amazing though.
  • The old rail terminal. Cool building.
  • New and modern place whith a lot off good resturats. And very close any and every collective transportation.
