  • I strongly advise you to visit the real geographic North. It's a hike of 18 kilometers round trip which leads you to the true geographical North Cape located 1,400 metres further north than the Nordkapp! It is available for free from a parking lot with a map of the "nordkapp kommune" located 2 kilometres before the "touristy" Nordkapp that him is paying to share if you walk!

  • Initially when I was told that I would have to do 18 km of hiking I didn't that I can, and then finally... If... (and I'm proud). It's a relatively easy (maybe the last part a bit slippery), with small boards for peaty areas. Well signposted (must follow the pile of stones), with incredible silence, beautiful landscapes. The pleasure to be able to get to the end and write in the book of the hikers of the year is a little happiness. There is a view really breathtaking at the end and if we are lucky we can see seals, birds, and observe the globe from the North Cape Cliff as if they were next. A very nice hike that I recommend

  • A single 18 KM hike to the trails sometimes very stony! On arrival: the end of the world, quite simply! A wonderful view and the feeling of being alone in the world. And above all, great pride (and hi to all the lazy present at the globe and who think to be the most northerly point, but beautiful Cliff anyway, it must be said)

  • Very nice hike with amazing landscapes, the trail is sometimes hard to see but you can just follow the piles of rocks. The last part of the hike is the most difficult one and can be slippery depending on the weather, but anyone can do it. The views are breathtaking
  • Windproof jacket and hiking boots recomanded :) You can see reindeers near to the hiking road at early morning hours. You can feel freedom everywhere in the air at this amazing place...
  • A nice hike to the real most northern point of Europe. Around 8-9 km from parking lot. Worth it if you can make it. And its free!
  • Unlike Nordkapp this actual northern point does not cost 260 NOK to visit. And the view is stunning.
  • Definitely worth the 9km hike, breathtaking scenery
