  • The Church of Honningsvåg was built in 1855 in the neo-Gothic style. It is a small church and simply held. Maybe she liked us so well. The Church is the oldest building of Honningsvåg. Right next door is also the cemetery.

  • This little church built in 800 worth a short visit while strolling through the streets of Honningsvåg. It's simple but it is the only building left standing by the Germans during their retreat in World War II. Very interesting pictures that portray her as only remaining refuge for the inhabitants.

  • Beautiful in may, but how is it in December? The cemetery is all side, clergy and buildings paid for by the State.

  • I was expecting more coming here. Yet, I would not say it was bad. I really recommend everyone to visit this place, because it is still a nice monument to see and visit.
  • Enjoyed my visit to this small church in very northern Norway. The area is beautifully sparse.
  • The oldest building of Honningsvåg. The only building that was not burned by the advancing from German at the end of the 2nd WK (scorched earth). Bus on the roof-the last residents of the city live here together for months. Det inside the church there are interesting photos from the period.

  • As it happens with other Norwegian churches, we have a Protestant Church in wood, with very sober décor which does not seek to amaze the visitor, but simply to be a meeting point.
