  • Spent many hours last Saturday at the Maihaugen with my sister in a great septembervær. It is low season and not so much to get into, but still we had the great pleasure of wandering around in such beautiful surroundings. We also have great childhood memories from Maihaugen that was awakened to live. The area with the villas is exciting and "our own history". Here also, the Museum constantly renews itself-most recently with committed job to move the Queen's childhood Life here. Finally, a walk through the exhibition "Slowly, the country was our own"-for my part 3. time, but I'd like another round in a couple of years.

  • A super destination for all ages. The well preserved buildings are in top condition. There is a great look into the past of Norway a part. The English-language guide was easy to understand. I can only recommend it.

  • A museum that really is worth it. We were out of season which not all full. Despite that were at some homes to let in. A sign of hospitality.
