Inspirock Rating:
3.9/5 based on 420+ reviews on the web
Step inside Hunderfossen Familiepark and meet characters from Norwegian fairy tales. This amusement park, founded in 1984, offers a few wild rides for adults and lots of different activities for young kids and older children. A giant troll guards the treasure of the Norwegian folk stories, which is kept behind the gates of a 37 m (120 ft) tall castle. Ride through the fairytale castle, try to save a princess, or sit and eat traditional Norwegian food among the trolls in the restaurant. The park also features a science center and 4-D shows like "The Little Prince." Note that the shows are in Norwegian. • Very nice walk in the autumn holidays. No queue at some of the activity. Some understaffed at restaurant rates and a little ghost town like sense since so many of the stalls are closed. Very good in the troll's room with a view on the allergies. Poor selection in kiosks since it was the last opening day.

  • A Park full of Norwegian folk tales quickened with Ivo Caprinos eminent figures. Here you will find soriamoria-castles, troll the Hall and you can learn about energy. It is in addition a part amusement park similar activities. In the middle of the Park is the 114 m high troll, who sits. This is a park without too much fjas.

  • It's a great place for young kids, My niece loved the talking "animal theatre" and driving a tractor. The energy centre is also entertaining. Some parts are abit old and could have been upgraded, but there are also some new attractions. Food is pricy, but you can bring your own food and use the bbq equipment for free, and if you rent a small trolly it's easy to get around with stuff. Plan to spend some time ib the kids tempo and you will have a great day! For the grown ups its a good place to learn a little about Norwegian culture and stories
  • Great for kids, with lot's of depicted myths fairy tales and... yes trolls. (hey it's Norway).
  • Great entertainment for the kids, although not for the youngest ones. I think it is best from the age of 3+
  • A very nice park in beautiful surroundings, a lot to do both for the children and for their parents!
  • Best place for kids and parents. If you are going to the Hafjell/Lillehammer area with kids. This is the place to go. The "Winter park" is also awesome.
