  • Lovely hike, super steep!!! No switchbacks to lessen the grade to just be ready to breathe heavily. Fantastic views and you don't have to climbe the whole thing to get a great view.
  • A long hiking (if you walk slowly and take your time) but not very difficult to access at a very beautiful view as well as having your head in the clouds !! :)
  • On Vestvagøy, the highest peak is "Himmeltinden". The main top is 964 meters above sea level. The view is breathtaking. The hike to Vestvagøy islands highest peak takes 5-6 hours up and down, not marked, partly trail. And the distance is aprox 10km. This is fysically challenging but not dangerous. I spent about 1hour on breaks and enjoyed the wiews every now and then. It took me 5.5 hours in total. Beginning of the route is easy and geltle, but when it gets steep its speep all the way to the top. It was a fun challenge for my butt and calves and sooo worth the climp. The view was uncredible and hey don't forget to write you'r name on the book witch is hidden in the box on the top.
  • Just amazing
  • Beautiful hike from the beach between below. Superb circular view of the Lôfotens. Random trail as often in this area.
