  • It was raining and as a visit to a protected space was Yes. The Aquarium and the adjacent Lofoten offered Museum for it. The only problem was to find a parking place, where the way despite of the fas horizontal rain was bearable in the middle. The Aquarium was totally different than we had expected. Although there were many fish in the tank. But were all native species that lived in Norwegian waters and swam around very much alive. So it's something new for us! Because otherwise, you know the fish rarely in floating State, but rather in parts on the plate or else how processed. In addition, there were huge billboards and nice movies about fishing, the geological composition of the sea, and just everything is sea and fish. Made so very interesting. So it was not too boring, all classes seem taken the bad weather as an opportunity to take advantage of the Aquarium for an en class trip. It was not boring. A souvenir shop with attached Café ´ completed the offer. We have dispensed with because of outside circumstances already described the visit of the two outdoor pools with otters and seals. They are fed twice a day but in this case unfortunately without us. The same was true for the offered views from the hotel's own small hill with the wonderful views of the picturesque Bay with the small hotel.

  • Lofoten Aquarium very small, consists of one floor with fish (local), on the second floor of the interactive exhibit, a gift shop, a small café and two swimming pools with otters and seals, which feed during certain hours. The whole place is pretty and worth a visit, if only because of the kind of views from the observation deck and a café.
