  • The Museum paid, is open until about lunch. Exhibits not so much, a lot from the level of the Red corner in schools. Of interesting old items of everyday life, starinami household items decorated rooms. As IKEA mid last century) very noticeable relationship our cultures on the old photographs. There is a room devoted to the history of radio-including Nokia. You can climb the stairs to the top and admire the views

  • A modern museum in a nice and custom building. The exhibition provides comprehensive picture of how the Hammerfest was completely burned-down during the last war. It's amazing that the whole town was completely burned-down. The only thing that stood back was a small burial chapel. A nice kaffeteria at the Museum is recommended.

  • The entire northern Norway suffered a heavy Nazi occupation during World War II, the Germans had got their hands on local raw materials and gave great strategic importance to the control of the North Sea and the Arctic. at the time of the escape they destroyed everything: installations, homes and villages. Take care and keep alive the memory of what happened is all well and good!
