  • This waterfall is worth a visit, but not so well known, and therefore also not so very busy. Get up close to the waterfall, the small of connection strasses must be selected. Arrived at the base of the waterfall, a small fortified path leads to the Stilling basin. The spray is clearly noticeable. One should not miss this experience.

  • Impressive waterfall, especially after periods with rain. Nice stairs built with stones by sherpas from Nepal. Read signs with history during war and old times. Tip: Walk the stairs to/from the bottom.
  • The R13 is one of the main touristic roads in Norway. When driving from Granvin to the north you will drive by the majestic Skjervefossen, also called the Skjervsfossen or Skervefossen. The Skjervefossen in the river Storelvi has two drop and a total height of 125 meters. The upper part is the most impressive part with a single drop of 60 meters. You can either park the car at the bottom of the fall or at the top. Next to the waterfall there is path where you can walk down/up the waterfall. The toilet at the top of the waterfall is a must to see, you will be surprised!!
