  • A guided tour is recommended here, really. This is where the Norwegian Constitution was created, here they put these 112 men who worked to get the Constitution in place. It was interesting, solemn and exciting to walk through this old venerable building and at the same time get the story both about building, Carsten Anker and the Constitution. We had to wear socks over your shoes and it was strictly forbidden to touch anything in the building, and the only room where it was allowed to take pictures was in the national Hall. It was just fine, for today we have almost forgotten what it's like to enjoy and follow through on things without having the camera between us and what we will be looking at. The guide was knowledgeable and interesting, and it was nice for us adults and for the teenager. The park outside is nice and here it was different activities, especially for the children. It was also their own guided tours designed for children, but it was not we. Democracy Center that is located next to is also worth a visit. Here there is also a small café that serves simple dishes and drinks. This place is really worth a visit!

  • The tour in Holt was fantastic In the building! This was our first visit and we were lucky enough to get the tour alone with the Guide. This gave a wonderful experience as a not experience in larger groups. We therefore urge to head outside of the high season.
