  • The waterfall is probably the best thing to see in the Eidfjord area. We parked by the Overlook hotel and got a great view of the fjord and the waterfall. We then drove down and parked off the side of...  more »
  • From the viewpoint of Fossli hotel along the 7 waterfalls can be excellent Marvel. From there, the water masses Thunder 182 meters in the deep, the largest free fall distance of water is 145 meters. The Vøringsfossen is one of the most famous waterfalls in Norway. Children are to take on hand just in case. Already visitors to death fell's, but more had been initiated 2016 precautionary measures.

  • It was very hot, previously, it probably rained at night. Visibility in the countryside fog/haze was very limited. We had to look for the best vantage point 1 hour time us. We also needed the time because the previous paths about a construction site. But ok, after all should be barrier-free. The view was restricted by the weather, but that changes nothing on the beauty of nature. So look at.

  • A beautiful waterfall !!! Definitely worth a visit!!! Especially to approach him through the back (through the hotel Fossli). Then you see at least the entire waterfall. When we were there, the railings were renewed for safety. Awesome view which takes your breath away! Also very cool that you can look through the whole valley, without there being cultivated.
  • It´s probably the most spectacular waterfall in Norway. Nevertheless, the surroundings are rather unsafe, there are many ways to get closer to the waterfall, but some some of them are quite dangerous. Since the access to the waterfall from the R7 is very easy, this site is definitely recommended.
  • Without a doubt the most famous waterfall in Norway and one of the main tourist attractions of Norway. There is a big parking along the R7 and it is a short walk to the several viewpoints on the Voringfossen. Actually there are two waterfalls next to each other: Vøringsfossen and Tyssvikjofossen. If you want, you will also have a great view from the Fossli hotel at the top of the waterfall. You walk or take the car. For people who like a good hike, you can also walk in the canyon up to the bottom of the waterfall. A walk starts When driving back to Eidfjord, just before the tunnel. There is a parking. First walk further back over the bikeroad until you see a path going down.
  • We come from the mounting and start to climbing down and suddenly this wonderful place open for us. So magic and wonderful!!
  • Awesome sight to see. Still has its natural, but unsafe surroundings. Watch your step or nature will have you.
