Vidden Trail between Mt. Floyen and Mt. Ulriken, Bergen
(4.6/5 based on 240+ reviews on the web)
Vidden Trail between Mt. Floyen and Mt. Ulriken connects the two mountains and winds past small lakes and pools of drinking water while offering great views of the city. Take a cable car to Mount Ulriken or funicular to Mount Floyen and glide across the fjord and islands. On a clear day, you can see all the way to Folgefonna glacier. Stop at the restaurant at Mount Floyen, taste some Norwegian waffles, and walk down to the center of Bergen. The 15 km (9.3 mi) hiking trail is well marked; note that the last part is covered with gravel. Wear hiking shoes and bring a windbreaker, as well as some food and water. Some parts of the trail are rather steep. Choose to start, finish, or center your holiday on a trip to Vidden Trail between Mt. Floyen and Mt. Ulriken by using our Bergen holiday planner.

  • Imagine a nice trip. You can go from the Wing to the Ulriken or you can go in and on the width Isdalen over to fine Ulriken. to go down from Ulriken, a little steep but now it is made better paths to go on. Otherwise, it is possible to take Ulriksbanen down.

  • If there's a cable car ride is. .. It is also highly recommended for hiking. There are also plenty of people jogging and physical Norway walking course is also perfect. It is highly recommended that one night was day

  • The trip from Ulriken to the Wing is an experience, whether on skis in the winter, or in sneakers spring, summer or fall. Even I prefer to go the opposite way, with the Sun in your face, but it is up to the individual. With Ulriksbanen up to Ulriken you start more easily, and can get the straight road, down in Jordalen before you go up to the round man and down to the wing. You take the funicular down to the city so it is a pleasant trip of three to four hours in the leisurely pace. Fantastic views of Bergen, and an experience for both body and soul!
