Bergen Art Museum - The Rasmus Meyer Collections boasts pieces by renowned Norwegian and international artists mainly from the 20th century, including Munch, Kandinsky, Picasso, Rodin, Klee, and Miro.   • We went to museum 3 which has Munch and other Norwegian artists incl J.C. Dahl, Hans Gude, Christian Krohg, Harriet Backer. Loved the cloud pictures. 
  • Buildings (4, now one is in the works) they seem old outside and not much invite you to enter, but the collections are good (very good collection of Johan Christian Dahl, several works by Picasso). Especially interesting the building devoted to Edvard Munch.

  • We waited until later in the day to go to the art museums. There were three out of four buildings open. We did not give ourselves enough time to go through them all. My husband's backpack did not fit ...  read more »
