  • First piece of advice: go when the weather is good and you have good visibility. Experience/mountain ride with great views. Two start options. Either from Åndalsnes or from Vengedalen in Isfjorden. The latter is most common and it was from there we went. Much appreciation and altitude first. Your hard work get a valuable reward when a pops up on the very edge. The view, most squeal of admiration. Just as delicious every time! And it has you all the way on. Start up there at about 1130 m above sea level. The tour then goes to Åndalsnes. Airy, in part, at times quite narrow and fun cut down/up Neck ask year to Mjølvafjellet. About 1216 m above sea level. Absolutely the funniest part of the trip. From there, the wide and rocky down to Åkesvarden. From there, the trail turns. All the way with a view that is going to cripple the vast majority. The trip goes as down and further over Mjelvaskaret. A little narrow and airy there too. After Høgaksla so POO it down via Nesaksla to Ramp the line and stairs that Sherpas have made. Many will find it tough to your feet/knees down the last part. Important to train up because the muscles in the forefront. Well down at Åndalsnes so was I and my friends happy. We spent about 4.5 hours. This despite an eating break and many fotos top. The time doesn't really matter but most people spend 5-6 hours. A to enjoy themselves on the trip and take the time to enjoy the Romsdal cutting spectacular views. ❤ ️ Many come back and running the trip over and over again.

  • A great hike up Mount Romdallen. One can get a bus to the starting point of the route in Vengedalen (1 July to 30 September). Camping complex, requires physical preparation. Ascent and descent on the stone formations, sometimes you go along. Therefore, if you are afraid of heights is not for you. But stunning!

  • The easiest way in the Romsdal'skie Alps. In summer a bus goes daily from åndalsnes in Ven'esdallen to the starting point of the trail. The journey takes 8-10 hours in good physical shape. Trekking boots are required. In my opinion, camping in the rain is definitely not a good idea.
