  • Whether you are coming over the Romsdals-edge, or goes up from Åndalsnes, so it is a good breather. When you get there and breathing, as a locomotive with tongue hanging down on your knees, it's good to be able to lean on the railing on the Ramp the line, just to enjoy the view from there until you get to from, and look normal and healthy out.. It is also a good excuse to the others you are going along with that you that it is good to see beyond, at the same time as you know a good mountain air.

  • Climbing this mountain was hardcore, but totally awesome. Probably would be a lot easier in the summer but we went in March so at around 400 metres above sea level we hit the snow line. This made the ...  more »
  • Not so far in distance but many meters of altitude, about 500. But it is signposted as you get psyched along the way and then get belömningen in the form of great views!:)

  • We were lucky enough to have beautiful, warm weather when we did this hike. It took us 2 hours to get to the viewing platform which included a few water/rest stops and then about an hour and a half down. Good footwear is an absolute must. The path can get very narrow and steep and the surface is mostly small tree roots or slippy rock. Incredible views and totally worth the effort.
  • Amazing and breathtaking view! The hike is moderate level. Could be quite difficult after the rain.
  • A cool lookout spot on the way down form Romsdalseggen to Åndalsnes (or up, if you walk form Åndalsnes). At approximately 500 meters above sea level and sticking out from hillside you get a good view of Åndalsnes , the fjord and the mountains surrounding it.
  • One of the best viewpoints of Norway in my oppinion. You can book a busticket to go to the start of the trail early in the morning (info at the train station) and take the hike for 6-8 hours. Once you hit the summit you have a beautiful view of the whole valley. Definetly recommending it for the more experienced hikers, as the path takes a crazy turn once in a while. Be prepared and WEAR GOOD SHOES.
  • Easy hike with rewarding view.
