  • One breathtaking hike of 1-1.5 hours long one way. I went there in March and there was still snow but it was easy to get to the top.  more »
  • Good hike but exhausted for almost 1.5 hrs to the top. Wonderful views of mountains with snow and clear blue sky. Enjoyed very much. Must visit the place if you come to Andalsnes. Marvelous views.  more »
  • The hike up to Rampestreken is short(2km), but very steep. It took us about 45 minutes from the start in Åndalsnes to the viewpoint. The view is amazing when the weather is good. If it's raining the t...  more »

  • The view from Rampestreken is nothing short of stunning. It's a very good thing there are sturdy railings on all sides. ;) The hike is challenging at 515 meters, but well worth the effort. I highly recommend finishing the climb to top (Nesaksla) for an unobstructed view of Romsdalen. (an additional 200 meters)
  • Breathe taking view from vantage point, spectacular view from summit (just another 20min more from vantage point). And if you manage to find the King's throne, that is insane. Must go if you happen to be in andalsnes area.
  • Nice for trekking, wonderful view feom the top. Potable water after 2.4 km.
  • We were lucky enough to have beautiful, warm weather when we did this hike. It took us 2 hours to get to the viewing platform which included a few water/rest stops and then about an hour and a half down. Good footwear is an absolute must. The path can get very narrow and steep and the surface is mostly small tree roots or slippy rock. Incredible views and totally worth the effort.
  • Amazing and breathtaking view! The hike is moderate level. Could be quite difficult after the rain.
