  • Fantastic Church. It is a must when visiting Alta. Beautiful inside. A lovely place to sit down and enjoy the silence. There is also a café at the entrance which serves lovely waffles and coffee.

  • Undoubtedly, this modern religion (Protestant) while hugely far from Italian or European ancient cathedrals is able to convey a feeling of admiration and reflection. The exterior of the Church overlooks a large square and the overall construction poses for a steeple tall and slender (seems to be the central part of an organ) jutting into the sky. The Church, like many in the far North, occurs at the entrance with a sort of reception where you will find a coffee shop and services. A central part, made entirely of wood, shows the circular wall from which jut out of the marble pilasters circumscribing the wide decorative gilded apse in which stands a huge and modern crucifix that seems to want to embrace the faithful.

  • Alta, Norway ordered and way too major, aseptic spiral metal church
