To get there, start from the pedestrian shopping street at the foot of the hill and climb the 418 steps following the signposts. Have a snack at the scenic cafe on the top.   • climb to the top is a bit 'hard, 300 steps, but in the top the landscape is fantastic!! A beautiful sunset in the city!

  • From this location you can enjoy the best panoramic view over the city. You can reach it by car or by climbing the stairs leading from the city centre, just over four hundred steps, so if you're not trained is better with the car. You see pretty much everything from sunrise to sunset and if you want to take a good picture is just right. At the top there is a bar restaurant. It is one of the things "to do" to Ålesund.
