  • Took a trip up on Askla. Very nice place in the heart of Ålesund. Very nice to walk up the stairs and it takes not long time to go up a little over trinna dei 400. Stunning views along the way and at the top.

  • There are 418 steps that will separate you from the top of Mount you, both outward and return. A little secret? If you don't have much time, there is the road that takes you up and a small (very small) parking at the observation point. From there you can enjoy the most beautiful view of Alesund. Not to be missed for any reason

  • A trip across the mountain Aksla warmest, regardless of the weather. A superb trip offers to families and not least for the disabled that can drive electric wheelchair. The paths from Fagerlia and out to the lodge is accessible so that all come forward, either on foot or in wheelchairs. Citizen's road is also exciting to go but not as accessible for disabled people who have to take the Chair. Aksla well, a voluntary no-profit association, has done much work for the paths and the area is as it is. Great grill rooms, benches, wood carvings, paths and also an outdoor trimpark. Everything available, completely free ...:-D Then it's worse with the lodge, where the holder has put up signs on the entrance fee of $. 10.0-to enjoy the view from the balcony. Please, do not pay. The lodge has always been FREE to enjoy the view from. The holder should be glad for everything that is accessible in the area around so that he as all have customers ... Recommend them Aksla. PS! If you're lucky you get to see both the Red Deer, roe deer, eagles and other animals there.
